Physical Security in the Workplace: Securing Your Company's Most Vital Assets (Joint Presentation with Doug Farre)

In a world of evolving technologies, physical security is frequently overlooked while remaining the weakest link.  Companies that spend thousands on firewalls, IDSs, and other technologies to keep cyber attacks at bay spend far less on physically stopping someone from accessing the data they need to protect.   Even with spending allocated to physical security auditing devices and complex systems, many administrators are not aware how easily these can be bypassed through simple exploits like magnets, cloning, or even pin tumbler locks.  With corporate espionage and sophisticated attacks on the rise, it is no time to be lax about most companies' greatest security hole. With physical security, you cannot afford a single chink in the corporate armor; we will help attendees properly see past the false sense of security that most security devices offer.  Attendees will gain a new creative and intuitive perspective on assessing physical security threats in the workplace.
