Ralph Echemendia is a world-renowned Instructor, Ethical Hacker and Security Expert, who has appeared on KTLA, CNN, FOX News and Animal Planet, as well as in the pages of USA Today and Forbes magazine to name a few. He has been involved in the research and development of internationally recognized courseware and certifications as well as several key security technologies currently powering some of the most powerful e-commerce sites on the Internet. He has also developed a two day Applied Hacking and Social Engineering with Kevin Mitnick and collaborates on many different areas of information security with other well know industry professionals.

Christopher W. Day, CISSP, NSA-IEM | VP of Secure Information Services | Terremark Worldwide, Inc

Christopher Day joined Terremark Worldwide, Inc. in December 2005 as Senior Vice President, Secure Information Services. He is responsible for global information security services provided to Terremark customers. Prior to Terremark, Mr. Day was Vice President for SteelCloud, a publicly traded network security product and services firm headquartered in Herndon, Virginia.  Christopher was responsible for directing SteelCloud’s investments in advanced technology as well as leading the design and development of SteelCloud’s proprietary security systems. He also led the information security professional services group. has been awarded two patents in the in the areas of Intrusion Detection (#7017186) and Wireless Network Security (#7020476), respectively, and has two others pending.

Michael Barrera | CIO | RADIXX International

Michael Barrera is a proven technology executive with an impressive track record of creating and delivering complicated technological solutions as well as the organizations to sell, support and maintain them on a global level.  He has been on the leading edge of innovation for the last 20 years and has collaborated on projects with some of the industries largest companies like Microsoft and IBM.  He began his career working for the US Department of Commerce in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) where he helped develop leading edge environmental monitoring applications still in use today. Subsequently, he worked as a consultant in the cruise line industry, bringing some of the first client server, PC based applications to this industry. Mr. Barrera utilizes his unique comprehensive grasp of business acumen and information technology, with a proven track record of global business development in the information technology space to expand into new markets and gain market leadership.   He is currently involved in delivering business solutions for some of the world’s largest e-commerce initiatives.

Mark Akins | CEO | 1st Secure IT / Managing Partner | Advantage Networking

Mark Akins is a United States Air Force veteran and has over 18 years of operational experience managing organizations, people and computer systems in a diversely cultural (international) environment. He holds several industry certifications including PCI QSA, CISSP, CISA, CTT, MCSE, and MCNE and his technical specialization falls within the area of IT Security and the auditing of secure access to network systems and data based on standards compliance. Most notably Mark has served as the lead consultant / Project Manager on projects for the Domino Sugar, The Hanley Center of Palm Beach, The Palm Beach State Attorneys office and takes special pride in his work with non-profit and educational organizations such as the American Red Cross in Palm Beach County, FL. Michael Berman | CTO | Catbird

Michael Berman is the CTO of Catbird, with over 20 years experience in system engineering, architecture, design and implementation of secure computing. A popular speaker at numerous security conferences and academic research institutions, Michael’s experience includes implementation of C2 UNIX; Fortune 100 enterprise security; and expert support in the prosecution of computer crimes. He is a member of the Electronic Crimes Task Force and High-Tech Crime Investigation Association and a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP). Michael is currently one of the leading authorities in compliance for cloud environments.

Albert Caballero | CEO | SecNet Systems, LLC

Albert Caballero is an information security architect, author and consultant with hands-on experience designing and implementing security controls for large scale operations.  Albert has helped commercial organizations and government agencies achieve PCI, FISMA and ISO compliance standards for Cloud, Hosting and Collocation environments. In his role as Custom Security Engineering Manager at Terremark Worldwide, Inc. he helped develop and manage the Security Operations Center, deploying and integrating a wide array of security tools and technologies into their Cloud and Hosting platforms. Published in several journals on security management and intrusion prevention, he co-authored the Computer Information Security Handbook and develops Virtualized Information Security Curriculum for Jones and Bartlett. Albert has also been Technical Product Manager for commercial SIEM and Host-based IPS products throughout his career in the South Florida area.

Matthew E Luallen | President | Sph3r3, LLC

Matthew E. Luallen is a renowned instructor and author, and President of Sph3r3, LLC.  As the President of Sph3r3, LLC. and co-Founder of Encari, he has advised numerous federal agencies, financial institutions, electric utilities, law enforcement and national testing laboratories about best practices on identifying and mitigating operational and cyber security vulnerabilities of business information and industrial control systems.  Mr. Luallen has written, consulted and trained extensively on process control and SCADA security issues. He performed ground-breaking work with electric utilities and regional reliability organizations on compliance with the NERC CIP Reliability Standards.  Prior to founding Sph3r3 and Encari, Mr. Luallen provided strategic guidance for Argonne National Laboratory as member of its Information Architecture and Cyber Security Program Office.  Mr. Luallen is a graduate of National Technological University with a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mr. Luallen also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana.

Edward Haletky | President | AstroArch Consulting

Edward L. Haletky is the author of VMware vSphere(TM) and Virtual Infrastructure Security: Securing the Virtual Environment as well as VMWare ESX Server in the Enterprise: Planning and Securing Virtualization Servers. Edward owns AstroArch Consulting, Inc., providing virtualization, security, network consulting and development and The Virtualization Practice where he is also an Analyst. Edward is the Moderator and Host of the Virtualization Security Podcast as well as a guru and moderator for the VMware Communities Forums, providing answers to security and configuration questions. Edward is working on new books on Virtualization.

Ross Leo | VP & CTO | Insyte LLC

Mr. Ross Leo is the Vice President & CTO of Insyte and has been an Information Security professional for over 30 years.  He has worked internationally as a Systems Analyst/Engineer, and as a Security and Privacy Consultant.  His past employers include IBM, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Rockwell International.  From 1998 to 2002, he was Director of Security Engineering and Chief Security Architect for Mission Control at the Johnson Space Center.  From 2002 to 2006 Mr. Leo was the Director of Information Systems, and Chief Information Security Officer for the Managed Care Division of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Mr. Leo continues to work in the Healthcare arena as a professional educator and Management Consultant.
